富士急Highland Gundam Crisis

Not sure if it's pure luck or planned, I was there for the grand opening of Gundam Crisis at 富士急Highland!

The ride is not as good as I thought and the worst part is that it is prohibited to take pictures!  As I was hoping to take pics of an 1:1 RX-78-2, it pissed me off when I learned NO PICTURES inside the ride!

 

The opening Ceremony

At 10:30AM, the game director, FujiQ representative, voice actors of Amuro Ray and Char Aznable were on stage for the opening!

They even has delicated bus for that day!

 

The Game

Each round they will feed around 20 persons.  Each person will be given a PDA:

The goal is to collect Gundam 5 VQ manual in Zone A then install them in Zone B within 8 minutes:

If you can find and install all VQ manuals within the time frame, you will be given a chance to get through Zone X where is the cockpit of the RX-78-2!  Besides, they will take a picture of you inside the cockpit and give it to you as a pass.

It's a pity that I couldn't find all 5 VQ manuals and there were just too many people lining up so I gave up with another try.

Anyhow, got a chance to SEE an 1:1 RX-78-2 is already a dream came true!
