MG #98 MS-06S CHAR'S ZAKU ver. 2.0 (Construction Days 更新)

11th December 2007 (day 1)
Finally started to build it last night.  Hugh difference from the other MG that I have ever build.  May be that's what stand for Version 2.0!

12th December 2007 (day 2)
The chest is more or less completed.  First time for me to use flat cover paint.  I think it's more appropriate for MS in the one year war...

Noticed the reflection on the water based stickers are very different with using semi-gloss cover paint.

13th December 2007 (day 3)
The back pack is done but I scroll up with the stupid cover paint over the sticker!

Anyway, don't really want to scratch it off so started working on the head...  Instead of using the spot eye sticker, decided to paint it with transparent red with shinning silver behind the transparent part.  Quite okay with the 3D effect.

* Note: The head is cover by "Top Coat" instead of "Mr Super Clear".  Even they are both manufactured by Mr Hobby, "Top Coat" is much easier to control but it's more expensive!

14th December 2007 (day 4)
Got the foot done!  First MG with so many joints on it's foot...

Getting used to the "Top Coat" now...

15th & 16th December 2007 (day 5 & 6)
I guess most people doesn't show the hidden pressure tube inside the thigh:

And here are the preliminary legs, probably won't be able to finish them before my trip to Tokyo:

17th December 2007 (day 7)
Finally got most of the legs' skeleton done!  Too sleepy to wait until the other parts to dry up for photo shooting:

22nd December 2007 (day 8)
Back from Tokyo.  Continue and get the waist completed.  Took a long time to paint the inner parts with this MG:

Zaku Stands!  Next step will be the hands...

25th & 26th December 2007 (day 9 & 10)
Finally, got both hands done:

Final picture without a good background!  Look forward for the finish product la...

28th & 29th December 2007 (day 11 & 12)
I thought I will not post any more pics until it is FINISHED but...

Look inside the skirt... This time I even painted inside the "hidden area"...
